Description
This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The Me163 Komet is the only rocket-propelled fighter in the history of aircraft. Its flight speed of 900km/h or more, which far exceeded that of reciprocating-engine aircraft of the time, surprised Allied forces. The mass-produced Me163B has several variations, and a total of about 400 were built. Of these, the Me163S, which is a training aircraft, has the Me163B-1a's armament and rocket engine removed to form a double seat.
This model kit from Wolfpack Design comes with parts by Academy for two of the Me163, as well as a metal pitot tube, color photo-etched parts, a masking sticker for the canopy and wheels, and decals by Cartograf for six versions. Place your order today!
