Azur Frrom brings us a newly-molded 1/72-scale model kit of the Martin Type 166 bomber! The Martin 166 was an export version of the B-10 bomber developed for the Netherlands. It was the final production model in the series, and was also known as the WH-3. In addition to redesigning the wings and nose, the canopy, which previously separated the cockpit and dorsal gun turret on production models, was integrated into one long, continuous "greenhouse" design. A bomb rack was installed between the engine and fuselage, and the engine was changed to the R-1820. Eighty-two of this aircraft were produced.
