This is an injection-plastic airliner model kit.
The JRM Mars was a large flying boat developed by Martin for transport during WWII; it was the world's largest aircraft at the time. After six of this aircraft were produced and rented from the U.S. Navy in 1956, four Canadian private companies bought and converted them to firefighting flying boats. As of 2016, two of this aircraft remain in existence, and one of them, JRM-3 "Hawaii Mars," is currently being operated as a forest firefighting machine.
This kit uses FRP for the body, main wing, and tail wing; the remainder of the parts are made of injection plastic. Will be about 50cm long with an 84.6cm wingspan when completed. Includes a stand for display and decals for one version.
