This is a resin-cast aircraft kit.
This model kit is of the Macchi M33! This speedy aircraft participated in the 1925 Schneider Trophy race, and while the M33 piloted by Riccardo Morselli had to withdraw due to a problem with the engine ignition system, the M33 piloted by Giovanni de Briganti won third place in the race, with its average speed of 277km/hour. The M33 was the last flying boat to participate in the Schneider Trophy race, but its aerodynamically sophisticated design, such as a monoplane strut and wingless cantilevered wing to reduce drag, attracted many admirers. Fans of "Porco Rosso" may recognize it as well.
This full-resin model kit includes brass engine stanchions, photo-etched parts and painting mask stickers, transparent film for the instrument panel and decals for three versions. Experienced resin-kit builders will love its delicately detailed parts. Order yours today!
