This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
In the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, the Flight Development Experiment Group is the air corps that conducts tests on aircraft and aviation equipment. In addition to testing and evaluation to confirm the practicality of domestically developed equipment and equipment introduced from overseas, they also engage in basic research to acquire data on operation, as well as support for technical tests conducted by the Acquisition, Technology and Equipment Agency. They also provide training courses for test flight pilots who conduct tests and evaluations of aviation equipment, as well as technical executives.
The F-2A fighter assigned here is the prototype No. 1 unit at the beginning of development, and in order to improve attitude visibility during testing, the expected center line and each wingtip are painted red with a white base. Currently, the specifications of each part are changed to the same as the mass-produced model, but the coloring remains as it is, and it is operated as a practical test machine.
This model kit from Fine Molds adds new parts for the antenna; the red-painted part of the aircraft is reproduced with decals (except for some parts). Order yours today!
