This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The flagship F-15J Eagle is based on the U.S. Air Force's F-15C, which began deployment in 1974, and is equipped with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's own equipment, including a link system. Unit deployment started in 1982, and it still plays a role as a main force in Japan's air defense. A commemorative paint version is often produced and displayed at air festivals at bases that operate the F-15J; a special paint that is still popular among fans is the livery given to the Eagle of the 306th Squadron at the air festival held at the Japan Air Self-Defense Force Komatsu Base on September 20, 2014. The design is a golden eagle, which is the unit's emblem, and it's well known for its unique bright yellow coloration on a low-visibility base.
This model kit from Platz features vivid and accurate decals from Cartograf to reproduce the unique golden eagle markings. The model includes realistically detailed landing gear, as well as a highly detailed engine exhaust port and cockpit. Order yours today!
