This is a resin-cast military vehicle model kit.


Japanese Type 4 15 cm Self-Propelled Gun "Holo"

The "Holo" began development at the Army Technical Headquarters in July 1944. It aimed to enhance the mobility of obsolete 15 cm heavy howitzers and make effective use of them. By August of the same year, a prototype was completed, featuring the Type 38 15 cm howitzer mounted on the chassis of the Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tank.

Similar to self-propelled guns of other nations during that period, the superstructure above the fighting compartment was open-topped with no armor on the top or rear surfaces.
