The Experimental Type 5 Self-Propelled Gun Ho-Ri II was a prototype tank planned by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. It was designed based on the chassis of the Type 5 Medium Tank Chi-Ri. The plan involved equipping it with a prototype 105mm tank gun, accommodating a crew of 6. The interior layout featured a central fighting compartment, with the engine placed at the rear of the hull, resembling the configuration of the German Army's Jagdtiger.
However, the vehicle never reached completion by the end of the war.
Planned specifications include:
Length: 6.5m
Width: 3.05m
Height: 3.1m
Weight: 40 tons
Crew: 6 members
