This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Ki-5 Fighter was the final single-seat fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army's fighter squadron. The Ki-5 Fighter appeared in Japanese skies in 1945, after replacing the water-cooled engine of the Ki-3 Fighter "Hien," which had been plagued by production delays and engine trouble, with the lightweight, highly reliable air-cooled Ha-112 engine. Although its maximum speed was slightly inferior to that of the Hein, the addition of the Ha-112 engine, combined with its lighter weight and high practicality, dramatically improved flight performance such as climbing ability and turning ability. It fought on equal terms with high-performance U.S. fighters such as the P-51 Mustang and Grumman F6F Hellcat, and continued to fight bravely on the front lines of homeland defense until the end of the war.
This model kit from Fine Molds allows you to choose from five different markings, allowing you to freely recreate the individuality of each aircraft and the atmosphere of each front. Place your order today!
