This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Injection Kit 1/72 WW.II Soviet HBT-5 Chemical Tank from Ukraine's UMmt
The design of the BT comes from the M1928 tank with a new type of suspension, the Christie suspension, developed by American John W. Christie.
Although the M1928 tank was only used in small numbers in the U.S., cruising and fast tanks were developed in the U.K. and the Soviet Union that carried on his ideas.
The success of the BT-2 led to the production of the BT-3, an improved version of the BT-2, the twin-turret BT-4, the BT-5 with a larger turret, and the BT-7, an improved version with reinforced armor and engine. The HBT-5 was a twin-turreted BT-3.
The HBT-5 was a redesign of the BT-5 in order to protect the crew from toxic gases, and only a prototype was built as a "scientific tank (flame tank).
This kit includes a new fighting compartment with injection parts, link & length crawler and etched parts.
When completed, it will be approximately 78mm in length.
