This is a plastic military vehicle model.
The AAV7 is an amphibious assault vehicle operated by the U.S. Marine Corps. Until 1985, it was known as the LVTP-7. It began development in the late 1960s as the successor to the LVTP-5; it was formalized in 1970 and began operating in 1972. After that, it was refurbished with the aim of improving its performance. The engine has been replaced with a Cummins four-stroke V8 liquid-cooled turbocharged diesel engine, and the capacity has been improved by increasing the size of the cupola. It has been adopted in many countries other than the United States, including the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, who operates 58 of this vehicle.
This fully assembled and painted display model firmly expresses the AAV7's characteristic style, down to its markings; the shape of the vehicle and its turret, the hatches, and details such as the bolts on each part are expressed in great detail. It's painted in a camouflage pattern. A display case is included to keep your model free of dust and fingerprints. Place your order today!
