This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

When fighting began on the Eastern Front during World War II, the road conditions in Russia, which turned into a seat of mud when it rained, restricted the movement of ordinary trucks. Since normal tow half-tracks are complicated and expensive, development of a simple half-track was carried out, and it was accomplished by changing the rear wheels of a truck to a track drive. To simplify the suspension of the crawler belt, the structure of a garden Lloyd type was adopted. More than 20,000 units of this simple half-track, called Maultier, were produced using trucks of different companies; however, Ford made 14,000 of them and became the main force of Maultier.
