Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The FW190 equipped with a liquid-cooled engine was known as the D series. It was equipped with a Yumo engine, but it was the D-14 that was adopted by the Air Force after the installation of a Daimler-Benz engine. The turbocharger port is on the opposite side of the Yumo engine. The D-15 was a mass-produced type that was armed only in the wings; production began in April 1945, and the number of completed machines was small.
This model kit from IBG reproduces the D-15's powerful form and flat-nose top surface without fuselage armaments; the DB603 engine is also duplicated, as are the two drop tanks and fish-shaped bomb equipment. Order yours today!
