This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
As a plan to improve the capacity of the Fw190A, the B type was planned to be equipped with a BMW801 exhaust turbine, the C type was equipped with a liquid-cooled DB603, and the D type was planned in 1942 to be equipped with a liquid-cooled Jumo 213, and prototypes were manufactured of each. The D type with the Jumo 213 was equipped with an annular radiator in the extended nose, so it was possible to install a liquid-cooled engine with minimal modification. The length of the tail corresponding to the length of the nose was also supported by inserting a spacer in the fuselage and vertical stabilizer, so it was also excellent in terms of productivity. In June 1944, two prototypes were manufactured, and their effectiveness was recognized and mass production was carried out, bringing out the last glory of the Luftwaffe.
This model kit from IBG reproduces the prototype with new 3D-printed parts for the barrel of the outer wing and the inspection door. Order yours today!
