This is a plastic military vehicle model.
The Boxer MRAV is a versatile wheeled armored vehicle introduced in 2009. It was jointly developed by Germany and the United Kingdom as a successor to the M113, which had been active until then. A major feature is that its structure is divided into a drive platform-based chassis and a replaceable mission module, enabling excellent productivity and flexible operation according to tactics. The advanced production A0 type was introduced in 2009, the main production type A1 was introduced in 2011, and the A2 type made its debut in 2015. It weighs 36.5 tons in battle weight, with a length of eight meters. Equipped with an eight-cylinder diesel engine, its power is transmitted to the undercarriage of an eight-wheel independent suspension full-time eight-wheel drive, demonstrating excellent running performance. The body uses modular armor, and is equipped with an automatic grenade launcher or a 12.7mm machine gun as the main armament. It is operated by the Netherlands as well as Germany, and is scheduled to be adopted in Australia and other countries as well.
This model from Dragon is a pre-painted and fully assembled model reproducing the eight-wheel armored car Boxer MRAV in 1/72 scale. This is the latest A2 type model, firmly expressing the power of a large vehicle. Its shape is accurately reproduced thanks using a slide mold for the upper part of the hull, and a multi-directional slide mold for the lower part of the hull. The details of the undercarriage are also sharply expressed. The FLM200 remote control weapon station is also modeled in detail on the upper part of the hull; the upper hatch and the rear door are open. The paint reproduces the European camouflage pattern of the German Army. Order it for your own collection today!
