This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Daimler-Benz engine-equipped prototype
The Fw190D-14 saw the Luftwaffe's directive to install the DB603 engine, which had been considered for the C model. From February 1945 onwards, only prototype aircraft were produced. Due to the design of the DB603, the supercharger air intake was moved to the left side of the fuselage, making the nose slightly different from the earlier models.
The maximum speed was 710 km/h at an altitude of 7,400 meters. The overall length was extended to 10.422 meters.
The armament included a MK108 30mm motor cannon (85 rounds) and two MG151/20 20mm machine guns mounted in the inner wings.
The D-15 model was considered more promising, and as a result, the D-14 was not mass-produced.
Released as a plastic kit by IBG Models of Poland.
