This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

The Fokker Super Universal was a single-engine small passenger aircraft with a cantilever wing and an enclosed cockpit developed by the Atlantic Aircraft Corporation of America; it was also known as the Model 8. About 80 of this aircraft were produced, and about 10 each were manufactured in Canada and Manchuria; it was used around the world. In addition, the U.S. Navy operated it for a short time under the official name XJA-1; it was also used by the Argentine Navy, Canadian Air Force, Republic of China Air Force, and the Japanese Army and Navy.

This 1/72-scale model kit from Kora models includes wheel-type landing gear, resin parts for ski-type landing gear, and decals for two versions: U.S. military XJA-1, and Rear Admiral Byrd's private aircraft "The Virginian."
