This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
ICM releases a new version of their wonderful 1/72 scale Dornier Do 17Z! The new version replicates the Do 17Z-7 Night Fighter variant. This kit also includes highly detailed engines and cockpit interior. There are also decals for two different marking options!

At the beginning of the 1930s, the idea of a high-speed bomber that could outstrip contemporary fighters was born. One of the aircraft to be realized from this concept was the twin-engine bomber Do 17 designed by the German Dornier Flugzeugwerke company. Since the beginning of 1939, it was produced with a new "Waffenkopf" type nose part and air-cooled Bramo 323 Fafnir engines.
In the 1940s the Do 177-7 Kauz I night fighters were produced. These planes had powerful nose-fired armament. They served in the night fighter unit I/NJG 2 up to the beginning of 1941.
