This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The DH.88 Comet is a streamlined, twin-engine, all-wooden monoplane aircraft for racing made by the British company De Havilland. Three Comets were made to participate in the MacRobertson Air Race, a long-distance air race held in 1934 covering 11,000 miles between England and Australia. One of the three Comets entered in the race, "Grosvenor House," won, and one of the other two Comets finished in fourth place.
This 1/72-scale model kit of the DH.88 Comet from Clear Prop! is a completely new mold! The details of the cockpit and engine are realistically reproduced, as are the rivets and panel lines on its surface. The kit comes with a choice of open or closed canopy, separate parts for the ailerons and rudders, photo-etched parts, and decals for one version. Place your order today!
