Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Since its release in 2021, the 1/72-scale model kit of the De Havilland Mosquito from Airfix has been a huge hit, and this latest model kit adds 21 newly molded parts to recreate the final model! In addition to the B.XVI, characterized by its pressurized cabin, you can choose to build the B.35, the last bomber model equipped with a Merlin 113/114 engine, or the TT.35, which was modified after the war to tow target aircraft and operated until 1963. Decals by Cartograf are included to recreate the following three aircraft that served in the RAF during and after the war:
- No. 139 Squadron, Royal Air Force, flown by Squadron Leader Rupert G.W., 1950
- No. 3 Civil Air Combat Unit (CAACU), Royal Air Force, 1955
- No. 128 Squadron, Royal Air Force, based in Cambridgeshire, 1944
