This is an injection-plastic airliner model kit.
The DC-9 is a twin-engine small jet airliner that first flew in 1965, and the -30 type is a definitive model that entered service in 1967; over 600 of this version were produced. The -30 type has the fuselage of the -10 extended by 4.55 meters, increasing the maximum takeoff weight to 55 tons, and changing the engine to the JT8D-9 type or JT8D-11 type (thrust 64kN and 67kN respectively). In addition, by adding leading edge slats to the main wing, the stall characteristics during takeoff and landing have been improved, making stable takeoff and landing possible. This machine was adopted by the U.S. military as the C-9.
This model kit from Mach 2 Models is a completely new mold! It builds into a replica of an aircraft operated by Swissair (Swiss International Airlines). Order yours today!
