This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The DB-8 is a two-seat single-engine attack aircraft based on the Northrop Gamma. Production was done at Douglas, which acquired Northrop and it was adopted by the U.S. Army Air Corps as the A-17; the version exported overseas was known as D8-8A. The Netherlands deployed 18 of this aircraft in 1939, and it confronted the German Army as a fighter during the invasion by the German Army in May of the following year. Dutch D8-8As shot down several Ju 52 transports on the first day of the battle, but the Dutch surrendered four days later.
This model kit from Special Hobby includes a resin bomb rack, photo-etched parts, and decals for four versions: three for the Dutch Army and one for the German Army. Order yours today!
