The Da-42 is the next generation of high-performance twin-engine reciprocating aircraft from Diamond Aircraft of Austria. This aircraft achieves low fuel consumption and high aerial performance by adopting a diesel-type engine that can also use jet fuel. Although this aircraft was developed for civilian use, it is used in many countries as reconnaissance aircraft by the military and police.
