The PQ-14/TD2C-1 is a radio-controlled target drone used for training anti-aircraft gunners, developed in response to a request from the U.S. Army Air Forces in 1940.
This machine can fly unmanned via radio control; however, during ferry flights, a pilot would board and operate the drone using the basic control instrument panel equipped on the aircraft.
- Includes 2 types of PQ-14 decals: one for the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II and one for the U.S. Air Force post-war.
When completed:
Total length: approximately 82mm
Wingspan: approximately 127mm
