This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
Completely new mold 1/72 WW.II Italian Navy CB-class Submarine Injection Plastic Kit released by Mikromil of Ukraine.
The CB-class submarine was a 45-ton pocket submarine developed in 1941 as a development of the CA-class submarine developed in 1938 for attacking enemy berths.
The Italian Navy ordered 72 CB-class submarines from Caproni, and 12 were built until Italy's armistice with the Allies, and after the armistice divided the country into north and south, 9 were built by the fascist government in the north (RSI = Italian Social Republic).
When the war between Germany and the Soviet Union began, six CB-class submarines were sent overland to the Black Sea in 1942 as part of the Italian Navy's contingent to support the German Navy on the Eastern Front.
In the Black Sea, they did not attack enemy berths, which was their original purpose, but engaged in patrol missions and ambush attacks like normal submarines, and by the Armistice, they were successful in sinking five Soviet submarines.
