This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Dora Wings brings us a completely new 1/72-scale model kit of the De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver! The DHC-2, a STOL aircraft that made its first flight in 1947, remained in production for approximately 20 years, with nearly 1,700 built. The aircraft used by the British Army, designated Beaver AL.1, was used for medium-range general-purpose missions in Yemen, British Malaya, and Borneo. With excellent visibility and agile maneuverability, this aircraft was equipped with a camera and deployed for photo reconnaissance missions during the Northern Ireland conflict that began in the late 1960s, providing valuable information to the British Army. It also served in the Malaysian conflict of the 1960s and the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus during the Cyprus conflict.
