This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
BT tanks were developed in the Soviet Union before World War II; "BT" is an acronym for the Russian phrase meaning "quick tank." The design of the BT is derived from the M1928 tank with a new suspension system designed by the American John W. Christie. The M1928 tank was only used in small numbers in the U.S., but in the U.K. and Soviet Union, a cruise tank and a fast tank were developed based on it. In particular, the Soviet Army had been seeking a high-speed tank, so they purchased this tank and developed the BT-2 based on it. The BT-4 and BT-5 were later produced, both with larger turrets, and the BT-7 featured an enhanced engine and armor.
This kit comes with a new injection part for the 76.2mm howitzer, photo-etched parts, and link-and-length tracks. Will be approximately 7.6cm long when completed.
