The various improvements are not limited to its armor and firepower; its electronic devices have also been expanded and improved, strengthening cooperation between infantry units, each unit, and the headquarters, as well as increasing attack power. The M1A2 type began mass-production in 1992; the M1A2SEP type is based on the M1A2 with improvements. SEP stands for "System Expansion Package," further improving digitization.
