This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The F-15J eagle is based on the U.S. Air Force's F-15C, which began combat deployment in 1974, and is equipped with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's unique equipment, such as a link system. Deployment began in 1982, and it still plays a major role in the air defense of Japan. At air festivals at bases that operate the F-15J, commemorative-painted aircraft are often produced and flown for the occasion; this model kit includes decals to reproduce the special markings applied to the Eagle of the 306th Squadron at the JASDF's Komatsu Base Air Festival held on September 20, 2014. The design is inspired by the unit's golden eagle emblem, and has gained popularity as a design that stands out in yellow on a low-visibility painted base.
This model kit includes high-quality decals from Cartograf to reproduce the yellow-and-black paint of the special markings, as well as the markings on the vertical tail and the tank installed on the underside of the aircraft. The kit also includes accurately modeled 3D-printed parts for the boarding ladder used by pilots to get in and out of the cockpit. Order yours today!
