Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
A multimedia limited-run injection kit of the Saab B-5 by Special Hobby, the masters of this sort of kit. This appears to be a "conversion kit" based on a previous Northrop A-17 release, with a bag chock-full of highly detailed resin parts to replace less-detailed styrene parts on the sprues and give us a new nose, engine and propeller. A new bulged section of canopy is included for the pilot's cockpit, so a bit of careful cutting is in order. Two fairly large photoetch frets are included for cockpit and other details. Three landing gear options are provided: wheels with spats, wheels without spats and skis. Markings are for 3 Swedish aircraft.
