Description

This is an injection-plastic field gun model kit.

During World War II, the 15cm sIG 33 was used on the front lines as an infantry gun due to its destructive power. This early model was horse-drawn and had a lightweight wooden spoke; later models were modified to metal wheels with rubber tires for vehicle-towed use. The wooden-wheel version was lightweight and easy to manufacture, but it also had the disadvantage of being less mobiel and more susceptible to wear and tear. Approximately 4,155 of this gun were manufactured between 1936 and 1945.

The Stielgranate 42 was used for this gun as a winged shell with increased destructive power. It was used mainly to destroy heavy structures and vehicles. Its range of 1,000 meters is significantly shorter than the 4,700 meters of standard shells.

This model kit from FTF includes a booklet on the Polish campaign and the actual vehicle in both English and Polish. Place your order today!
