The WC series is a group of small to medium-sized military vehicles developed and used in the United States during World War II. WC is the internal code of the vehicle manufacturer that developed it, with W representing 1941 and C representing the standard in half-ton units. The WC series were small four-wheel-drive vehicles mostly used by the U.S. military, and in addition to equipment transport types (weapon carrier types), various variations were developed such as troop transport vehicles, ambulances, reconnaissance vehicles, and anti-tank self-propelled gun types, with a total of over 360,000 vehicles produced.
