This is a resin or white metal ship model kit.

The Castle-class corvette was built by the Royal Navy, as a smaller version of the Rock-class frigate planned as a successor to the Flower-class corvette, which was a coastal escort ship ordered in large quantities by the Royal Navy. For the Castle class, a conventional construction method was adopted in order to make use of small-scale shipyards that were unable to handle the block construction method of the Rock class.

This waterline resin model kit is armed with a 40-caliber 10.2cm single gun, a pair of 70-caliber 20mm twin machine guns, a pair of 70-caliber 20mm single machine guns, a skid anti-submarine mortar, and 15 depth charges.
