This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.

This kit of the USS Lexington CV-16 can be built as a waterline version or full-hull (a stand is included for use with the full-hull version).  Features include:

• Different types of radar provided
• Flight deck elevators can be built raised or lowered
• Parts are included to depict hull-side doors in open, half-open or closed positions
• Completely new twin 20mm and Army M45 0.50 Quadruple anti-aircraft MGs and mounts
• Accurately shaped and patterned CV-16 flight deck
• New superstructure parts ("island") corresponding to the arrangement used on the Lexington
• Onboard aircraft comprising SB2C (new-tooled) F6F Hellcat and TBF/M Avenger are molded in transparent plastic
• Hangar deck with interior details
• Newly tooled whip antenna
• Whip antennas can also be formed out of photo-etched metal
• An in-scale photo-etched deck crew is included.
