Description
This is a ship model kit assembled from parts made of resin, white metal, photo-etched metal and possibly other materials.
Sovremenny class DD series was started to deploy since early 1980's. It is a large DD characterized of the anti-surface & anti-air combat capability with 130mm twin guns and SS-N-22 anti ship missiles upon the traditional anti-sub capability. Recently, it received the electronic system and armament up-grade and became Sovremenny II, two vessels are sold to People's Republic of China. Kit is a hybrid of injection plastic ship model which taken from the early days line-up of PitRoad modernized with the stainless PE set for the radar & mast and the new injection plastic equipment parts.
