Description
This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
The DD-115 "Akizuki" is a general-purpose escort ship launched in 2010 and commissioned in the spring of 2012. She is an expanded development of the previous class "Takanami" type escort ship. Her appearance is characterized by a new tower-type mast and a superstructure designed to further stealth.
This prepainted kit accurately reproduces her distinctive silhouette, and an in-scale prepainted model of an SH-60K patrol helicopter is included. Features renovated deck parts to match the Asahi-type escort ship. Can be built as a full-hull or waterline version, and will be about 21.8cm long when completed.
