Description
This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
The DD-119 Asahi is a state-of-the-art escort ship launched in October 2016 as a reformed Akitsuki type general purpose escort ship; it was commissioned in March 2018. Although it's a general purpose escort ship suitable for anti-aircraft, anti-ship, and anti-submarine work, it's primarily used in defense against submarines. Includes an in-scale SH-60K helicopter. Can be built as a full-hull or waterline model; will be about 21.8cm long when completed.
