This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
The I-400 submarine is the world's first submarine aircraft carrier equipped with an attack aircraft, planned and built by the Japanese Navy at the end of World War II. It was an epoch-making ship with a long cruising range, 122 meters long, equipped with three attack aircraft on a huge hull, capable of attacking the eastern coast of the United States. In July 1945 (Showa 20), an attack corps was formed with the cruise submarines type I-13 and I14, which were converted into ships equipped with attack aircraft, and headed for Ulithi Atoll, the harbor of the U.S. Navy's aircraft carriers, but on the way, the war came to an end.
This model kit from Pit-Road can be built as a full-hull or waterline version; the kit includes parts to build two ships. Two of the special attack aircraft Aichi M6A are included, as are decals. Order yours today!
