Fujimi's outstanding full-hull model kit of the legendary IJN battleship Yamato now comes with photo-etched parts! A base is included for display after completion; the lower part of the hull is composed of integrally molded parts, and the screw and rudder are separate parts. This kit depicts the Yamato as she was seen during the 1945 Tenichi No. operation. In addition to the parts included with the kit, precision parts for the 25mm machine guns (triple, tandem and single) with separate parts for the barrel and gun mount are included. The Type 96 25mm machine gun consists of two pieces; the gunmetal of the barrel and the hull color of the base are painted separately for ease of assembly. The carrier-based aircraft included with the kit are now molded in gray rather than clear plastic, too, and photo-etched parts are also included for items such as the handrails, rattles, window frames, supports and more.
