Aoshima's "Waterline" model-kit series of ships has now been renewed with more precision! The Unryu, the flagship of the Unryu-class aircraft carriers, a masterpiece of the Japanese Navy that was built in large quantities during wartime, has been made into a 1/700-scale model kit by improving the design of the aircraft carrier Hiryu. The equipment parts such as anti-aircraft guns, main guns, machine guns, and shipboard boats have been newly designed and verified. Slide molds are used to achieve precise and accurate molding; the same-scale carrier-based aircraft such as the attack aircraft Ryusei Kai and the reconnaissance aircraft Saiun are included. The following parts are renewed with new molds:
