Fujimi brings us a special edition of their 1/700-scale model kit of the Imperial Japanese Navy three-tier flight deck aircraft carrier Kaga, now featuring photo-etched parts and a wood deck decal!

• This kit features a full-hull design that reproduces the ship down to the bottom of her hull, and includes a display stand for showcasing the finished model. 
• The kit includes both standard one-piece 25mm twin anti-aircraft gun parts and more detailed two-piece versions. The two-piece 25mm guns allow for easy color separation between the gunmetal barrels and the hull-colored bases.
• The kit depicts the Kaga as she appeared before her major refit, featuring the three-tier deck configuration.
• Includes three types of decals, with the Imperial Chrysanthemum crest for the bow, waterline markings, stern ship name (in both gold and solid warship-gray styles), deck lines, carrier-based aircraft markings, and the naval ensign.
• Includes photo-etched parts capable of rendering fine details that are difficult to reproduce with standard injection-molded parts. The photo-etched set includes bridge window frames, various supports, ladders, railings, and more.
• The wood deck decals features a laser-cut surface finish that realistically reproduces a natural, irregular woodgrain pattern. Pre-cut to fit the kit's parts, the decal allows for the easy and realistic reproduction of intricate wood deck patterns, including fine lines, that are difficult to achieve through painting alone.
• The wood deck decal set also includes photo-etched components such as elevators, crash barriers, arresting wires, windbreaks, and searchlight housing covers.
