Description

This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.

The Amatsukaze was commissioned in 1965 as the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's first ship-to-air missile-equipped escort ship. It served as a missile escort ship for ten years until its successor, the Tachikaze, appeared, and was used for 30 years until it was decommissioned in 1995.

This model kit of the Amatsukaze from Pit-Road can be built as she appeared in her final form, using parts such as the ASRock launcher, SPS-52 3D radar antenna, and satellite communication antenna that were equipped after it was commissioned. The kit can be built as a waterline or full-hull version, and color photo-etched parts are included for the flag, flagpole, and ship nameplate. Order yours today!
