Description

This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.

Nine "HATERUMA" type patrol vessels were built as base enhancement type patrol vessels with mother ship capability for helicopters and patrol boats.

The "HATERUMA" class patrol vessels were designed to have a mother ship function, but were also required to reach speeds of 30 knots or more, so they adopted water jet propulsion and had bullworks on the bow to achieve excellent surfability.

Her armament includes a remote-controlled 30mm machine gun and a large water gun.

PL-61 "HATERUMA" was completed in March 2008 and still belongs to the 11th Regional Ishigaki Headquarters.
