This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
This kit includes a runner of 1/700 New WWII Japanese Navy Ship Equipment Set #7, so it more accurately reproduces the Akebono's appearance in 1941. Decals for the sister ship Odoro are included; can be built as either a waterline or full-hull model. About 16.9cm long when completed.
