This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
Easily recreate a fully equipped version!
This limited edition kit includes additional aircraft parts.
Reproduces the Akagi during its three-flight-deck era before major modernization.
Selectable to build either the early version (*cannot reproduce the state immediately after completion before the 20cm twin gun turrets were installed) or the mid version (1934-35) with a small temporary bridge on the starboard side of the upper flight deck.
Aircraft parts included: 15 x Type 90 Carrier Fighters, 15 x Type 13-2 Carrier Attack Aircraft.
Decals included: markings for 12 x Type 90 Carrier Fighters, 15 x Type 13-2 Carrier Attack Aircraft.
