Aoshima's "Full Hull" model-kit series is finally getting a long-awaited renewal! The outfitting parts have been newly researched and designed; by incorporating numerous slide mechanisms into the molds, the intricate details of the 1/700 scale are reproduced with great accuracy. 

The Takao heavy cruiser, the first ship of its class, is popular for her large bridge and imposing appearance. This kit reproduces the Takao as she was seen in the late stages of the war, equipped with radar and numerous anti-aircraft machine guns to enhance her anti-aircraft capabilities. 

This kit features a well-designed parts configuration, making it simple and easy to assemble, yet accurate. Various outfitting parts, including the main guns and machine guns, have been newly designed and added, successfully expressing the precision and detail possible in 1/700 scale. Japanese Navy carrier-based aircraft are included, too.
