This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
Yamashita Hobby brings us a model kit of the destroyer Fumizuki, as seen in 1943! Most model kits of Mutsuki-class destroyers depict them after the start of the Pacific War; this kit of the Fumizuki shows her as she was before that time. She carries two, rather than the later four, main guns, and one torpedo tube instead of two; she is also equipped with 25mm double and triple armaments to strengthen her anti-aircraft weapons. She was mistaken as a destroyer under escort of the fleet, and engaged with the carrier-based aircraft of the U.S. MTF.
Some of the parts in this kit are newly molded, and new parts such as decks, gun chambers, anti-aircraft gun pedestals, and machine gun pedestal stanchions are added. Place your order today!
