Description
This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
Construction on the Peoples' Liberation Army missile destroyer Nanchang, the first Type 055 destroyer, began in 2014; she was launched on June 28, 2017, entered service on January 12, 2020, and is assigned to the North Sea Fleet. The hull is larger than that of the Arleigh Burke-class destroyers, and she has a tower-shaped mast that takes stealth into consideration. She's equipped with an H/PJ-38 130mm single-armed rapid-fire gun for the main gun; an H/PJ-11 (1130 type) proximity air defense system, an HHQ-10 proximity air defense missile launcher in front of the bridge, one 324mm short torpedo launcher and a vertical missile launcher all combine to give her a wide array of armaments. She also has the operational capability of using a Z-18 helicopter as a carrier-based aircraft.
