Motoko's hair and boots are aurora-plated to give them an optical camouflage effect, and her expression changes depending on the angle the figure is viewed from. The smooth texture of her bodysuit and skin contrast with the mechanical parts, and actual cords are used for the cord details, and the base is made of metal to heighten the realistic appearance.
