Honda's "Duet Cruiser" Ballard Sports CR-X was born in 1983. It became extremely popular as a light and compact coupe, and was also used as a base for dress-up and tuning. One that stood out among them was the Mugen CR-X Pro, manufactured by Mugen (currently M-TEC), which has close ties to Honda. The Mugen CR-X doubles the CR-X's characteristic charm with its protruding blister fenders, extended nose, and uniform coloring, which combines the sophistication typical of 1980s Honda cars with the awesomeness typical of a tuned car. The Pro is still one of the most popular models.
